The greatest Cinematic event after Avengers: Endgame is almost a month away. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have finally released the second trailer of the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home movie, releasing in December 2021. The new trailer uncovers a few mysteries that were questioned after the first trailer drop. However, the rumors and fan theories are still there to be answered yet. Watch the trailer below and then we’ll break it down for you.

If you have seen Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer 2 or even the first one, it’s safe to read further, but if you want to save yourself from spoilers and like being in the dark till the movie comes out, then you should stay away. FINAL WARNING!

The new trailer brings back Sinister Six (shown only five) in the movie, however, the sixth member hasn’t been spotted in the trailer. It might be Vulture from Home Coming movie, or Mysterio might still be alive. Marvel and Sony are trying to keep things secret and have carefully put the trailer out unveiling only Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, Lizard and Doctor Octopus.

First look at Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home / Sony Pictures & Marvel Studios

Sinister six members can be seen fighting the MCU’s Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland. Here’s a quick overview. After the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker’s secret identity was exposed by Mysterio before dying (is he really dead?). This creates a lot of issue for Peter and hence he seeks help from none other than the Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange. The saviour and protector of Earth then agrees to help Peter and from there things went sideways. Messing with the Multiverse causes issues and this results in arrival of villains from other Universes to the MCU. In the trailer, Peter and Doctor Strange can be seen arguing on how they should handle things, it’s clear that Peter doesn’t want to listen to Strange and hence causing a dispute among both.

One More Thing…

There’s one more thing about the trailer. Sony Pictures Brasil shared the trailer on their Twitter which is a bit different from the one shared with the whole world through Sony Pictures’ and Marvel Studios’ official YouTube and other social accounts. The trailer shows Lizard, getting punched on the face by someone who’s invisible.

This sparked debate online among fans that who it could be? Most are in favor that the Marvel has a history of faking trailers, and hence, Spider-Men from other Universes have been removed from the trailer digitally. Some are arguing that since Miles Morales has already been introduced in Sony’s Spider-Verse, and also has powers to get invisible, it might be him. Look at the trailer yourself.

Marvel and Sony have been trying to keep Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s presence in the movie even though there’s a whole lot fan theories out there. We might have to wait for the movie to release in order to find out and should avoid spoiling it for others. The Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out on December 17th, 2021 in theaters.
