It’s Happening, “Friends” Cast is Reuniting on HBO Max

It’s finally happening, “Friends” is coming back for a reunion on HBO Max.

The cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, are coming back for an exclusive special with an untitled and unscripted reunion on HBO Max. The reunion was highly anticipated since the farewell of “Friends” from Netflix. The show is now transferred to HBO Max at the end of 2019 with all rights owned by Warner Media’s streaming service. The “Friends” has not been streamed in the U.S. this year and will not be available until May 2020 as the HBO Max will launch in May.

The total 236 episodes of “Friends” will be streaming on HBO Max’s debut along with the special reunion. It is clear that HBO Max is trying to appeal subscribers by blowing a fresh breath into a show that ended 15 years ago. “Friends” was one of the most-watched shows on Netflix, and since the departure from Netflix, HBO Max is expected to see a great response from the loyal fans.

Different members of the cast who had their Instagram accounts shared a throwback picture with the whole cast announcing the reunion.

Ben Winston will be directing the special reunion and is likely to stream in May 2020 on HBO Max’s debut.
