Kevin Feige to Direct ‘Star Wars’ Movie for Disney

It has been reported that Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige is going to develop a ‘Star Wars’ movie for Disney.

Kevin Feige will partner with Kathleen Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm on the upcoming “Star Wars” movie. The Co-Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Studios said:

“We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of ‘Star Wars’ but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including ‘Children of Blood’ and ‘Bone’ with Emma Watts and Fox.”

Furthermore, he added,

“With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in ‘Star Wars’ storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a ‘Star Wars’ film together.”

Under the leadership of Kevin Feige, Marvel has had a number of hit movies. Avengers: Endgame has hit the box office earning $2.9 billion surpassing the record of Avatar. Moreover, so far, there are four Star Wars films produced for Disney that has almost grossed $4.5 billion.

Feige is a huge fan of Star Wars and we are looking forward to him directing the new Star Wars movie in collaboration with Kathleen Kennedy.
