Spider-Man is back in the MCU

Finally, after reaching an agreement, Sony pictures and Marvel will make a 3rd Spider-Man movie. The studios reached a new deal to continue their partnership and subsequently announced the return of Spider-Man in the MCU. This news is absolutely rejoicing for the MCU fans and Spider-Man fans around the world.

Previously the exit of Spider-Man from the MCU was saddening for the fans and a lot of people filed online petitions and started campigns to bring back Spider-Man to the MCU. The fans can now enjoy the return of Spider-Man to the MCU and look forward to two Spider-Man movies in the MCU. Sony and Disney will make one standalone Spider-Man movie and one appearance in an MCU film.

According to Variety, the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige said:

“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it.”

Furthermore he added,

“Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”

The film is scheduled to release on 16th July, 2021. The film will be produced through Pascak Pictures on which Amy Pascal said:

“‘This is terrific,'” she said.

“Peter Parker’s story took a dramatic turn in ‘Far From Home’ and I could not be happier we will all be working together as we see where his journey goes.”

Sony is pleased to have reached a deal. The fans will once again witness box-office hit movies. The chief communications officer of Sony Pictures Entertainment said:

“We have had a great collaboration over the last four years, and our mutual desire to continue was equal to that of the many fans.We are delighted to be moving forward together.”
