Warner Bros. has finally lit a green light to Justice League Snyder Cut. The movie is reportedly coming to HBO MAX, Zack Snyder to potentially make an announcement during the “Man of Steel” watch party and Q&A session on May 20 at 8 am (PDT) on Vero app.

#ReleaseTheSnyderCut became a campaign after Justice League’s release in 2017. According to Fandomwire, the reports are from their sources and the story is still developing which means that it can be another announcement as well but till now, their sources are claiming that Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder are onto announcing Snyder Cut of the 2017’s Justice League.

Zack Snyder left the film production after a family tragedy. Later, Joss Whedon, who also directed The Avengers for Marvel Studios, finished the movie, and fans didn’t like it as expected. Later, Zack Snyder started a campaign with hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut by posting his unfinished concepts and sketches of the movie, pointing to his version of the movie. Till now, it seemed like Snyder Cut isn’t happening but now, AT&T has released funds for the movie, and Snyder Cut will be released as Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max.

The streaming service will feature the newly edited Zack Snyder’s Justice League with the cast and new visual effects that were unfinished when Zack left the movie. The director also shared a few key details on his Twitter account teasing a glimpse of Darkseid in his cut of the movie. The Justice League 2017 featured Stephen Wolf stealing Mother Boxes from the heroes but Snyder’s version will not only feature Darkseid but we will also get our first look at Superman in the black suit.

The movie is set to release on HBO Max as a 4-hour episode in 2021.
