Wonder Woman 1984 is another movie to be hit by coronavirus pandemic. The movie was first set to release in theatres in June 2020, and now the release date has been pushed to August 2020. The film follows other upcoming movies like Marvel’s Black Widow and Disney’s Mulan, and Vin Diesel’s Fast 9 or F9 in the delay list due to covid-19.
Wonder Woman 1984 is the sequel to the super hit highest-grossing movie of 2017, Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, who also played the character in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League movie. The superhero movie was first set to release on June 5th, and now, the release date has been set to August 14th.
The movie was expected to be a massive hit on the Box Office since DC movies like Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Joker made quite a money on the box office. While Wonder Woman 1984 was delayed, other upcoming movies are also expected to postpone since coronavirus isn’t stopping anytime soon. Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is set to release in July 2020, which might be next to get delayed.
